The balance of oil supplies through the Transneft system in 2020 may shift from exports to supplies to Russian refineries. Based on preliminary requests from oil companies, they are going to increase processing by 13 million tons, while reducing exports. Experts explain this by the fact that the operation of Russian refineries in General remains quite profitable against the background of significant compensation from the state. At the same time, the supply of raw materials for export through ports, the level of which increased by 11% in 2019, largely due to force majeure on the Druzhba oil pipeline, may fall again next year. On the route through Belarus, with which there are still no agreements on the transit price, pumping should be restored from 42 million to 50 million tons.
