Joint - stock company "Transneft-Western Siberia" has completed the preparation of the production infrastructure for operation in the autumn-winter period.
The work has been carried out in accordance with the schedule since April. Experts checked 686 heating systems and heat supply, was made a test launch of 38 boiler-houses produced maintenance about 54 km of heat networks, repaired boilers, technological part, automation.
On the linear part of the main oil and oil product pipelines (MN and mnpp), specialists performed seasonal maintenance of almost 2 thousand units of shut-off valves with a check for full opening and closing, checked the operability of 19 leak detection systems and 330 linear telemechanics systems. Also, 285 block containers of control points for technological processes of oil and oil products transportation were insulated. 894 pulse pressure extraction lines were filled with non-freezing liquid. This makes it possible to avoid the formation of an ice plug in the pulse tube and to avoid its partial or complete overlap when the ambient temperature fluctuates.
At the pumping stations, specialists inspected 89 tanks for storing oil and petroleum products, tested ventilation systems and heaters with their transfer to winter mode. 49 emergency diesel power plants are ready to operate in winter.
In addition, to ensure reliable power supply to production facilities during the cold weather, more than 3.3 thousand km of overhead lines and cable power lines were serviced. Based on the results of thermal imaging surveys, heat leaks from buildings and structures were eliminated. The necessary reserve of fuel, oxygen, propane - materials for elimination of consequences of possible emergency situations is created.
